The 8th of September saw the gala presentation of Kent Charity Awards at the Pilkington Building, Medway Campus, Chatham.

Hosted by Sangeeta Bhabra, the evening acknowledged the care, dedication and passion displayed by the finalists. All charitable organisations and individuals from throughout Kent who help make lives better within their local communities.

Omolola Oyewusi, the founder of Magdalene Ministry, was both surprised and delighted to win the Volunteer of the Year Award for her selfless work to alleviate food poverty and loneliness in her community,

A recognition from Kent and Medway Health Watch for the awesome work done by Magdalene Ministry during the pandemic.
